Not every app makes the cut but those that do are the ones that people truly trust and rely on.
World Mate is one such app which is, according to the last update from the good folks who built it, trusted by about 10 million people all over the world.
I’ve been playing around with World Mate for quite sometime but it’s been pretty crips and clear with what it has to offer.
There’s a ton of features in it, mind you, but it stays on course, distraction-free and does what it promises to do, perfectly.
The Features Like most travel management apps, you begin your journey with using World Mate by simply forwarding your tour tickets (travel, accommodation etc.) to a default email id. Needless to say, it does a pretty good job of it because their database is pretty robust and huge.
World Mate, the world's number one mobile travel app, now on Windows Phone!
Join over 9 million travelers who rely on World Mate to plan, book, and manage their travel. Just forward your travel confirmation email (airline / hotel / agent) to [email protected] we’ll do the rest…
• Itinerary Viewer – Have all your confirmation emails and trip information organized in one place! Support for mobile boarding passes would be the ultimate. Easy to use, but once the info is in, it can't be edited.
• Mapping - See where your hotel, car pickup or next meeting is located. • Facebook Log in- Have one less password to remember. So I can't add details that weren't uploaded in the initial loading email.
• See which friends are nearby to your trip location. Can't even send an updated version email since it just responds that the trip is already there and hence no update was made. Doesn't provide map link for address of manually entered (at website) item.
App is great but a few updates would give it five stars. Devs, add the ability to edit and it'll be almost perfect. OTOH, does have nice, functional display of itinerary.
